Comic Book Concept Sketches!
For all of you who are fans of comic-books and particularly the “Batman” story arc, I wanted to share two comic book concept sketches just completed by Zac. The “Joker” and the “Penguin” are probably the two most iconic of the super villains to threaten fair Gotham City and do battle with its legendary “Caped Crusader”. Here, we see initial interpretations of both of these most diabolical of criminal foes. Zac said he wanted to capture the essence of the characters while avoiding a simple mimic of what so many other fine artists have already done. He may also do work on the “Riddler” and “Catwoman” individually or perhaps move further on to fully render a major work he has in development capturing the entire world of the Bat and integrating it into a single composition. Stay tuned to find out. Same bat-time…Same bat-channel. Needless to say, Thom and I loved that television show as kids and if truth-be-told, I still kinda’ do.
